Larry Cook has nearly 10 years of experience as a personal trainer and
competitive bodybuilder in the fitness industry . Larry Cook majored in
kinesiology in college. Larry has a certification as kickboxing
instructor. He also possesses thorough knowledge of biomechanics
applying to the neck, ankles, knees, and lower back.
Larry has been trained in the correction of all major postural
distortions. Larry can use a combination of exercise, stretching, and
massage to improve your posture and reduce aches and pains. Larry's
experience as an amateur light-heavyweight bodybuilder has also made him
an expert in weight loss, muscle gain, and shaping specific areas of the
body. When Larry competed in 2007 and 2008 he weighed between 190-198
pounds with a bodyfat percentage of 4%(caliper test). Larry also works
with athletes to improve power, agility, coordination, speed, strength,
and balance.
Larry Cook has also trained the elderly, children, and groups. If
you have a physical injury, such as tendinitis, chondromalacia, plantar
fascitus, bulging discs, etc, Larry will customize your program to be

Deena is a certified personal trainer and body sculpting
specialist in Los Angeles. Her clients range from high-school students
to senior citizens, men and women of all ages and goals. She encourages
women to stay fit before, during and after pregnancy with specific
pre-natal and post-partum exercise techniques. Deena has more than 14
years experience as a fitness expert in New York and Los Angeles.
Her experience in New York includes private training and aerobic at
Nassau College, Long Island as well as many other gyms in the Tri-State
area. Deena has trained extensively under master trainer Jason Kozma,
and works with him in Santa Monica.
Currently residing in Santa Monica, CA, Deena provides personal training
services in a number of locations including private homes. On weekends,
Deena leads a fitness group for outdoor activities in Santa Monica,
including the famous Santa Monica Stairs. She enjoys taking clients on
outdoor excursions where aerobic activity is mixed with resistance
training for body sculpting.
Deena works in conjunction with holistic doctors, chiropractors and
acupuncturists to assist her clients with physical limitations or
special rehabilitation needs. She has recently trained clients for the
Avon Breast Cancer Walk in San Diego as well as many other
walking/running fund raisers.
Her career in fitness began as a talk show host for a New York based
television health show entitled "Creative Wellness. The show covered
such topics as exercise, nutrition, self empowerment and holistic
healing. She has worked as a life coach and leads guided meditation
groups.
Deena is also a working mother. She understands the unique challenges of
balancing family, career and a healthy lifestyle. She develops programs
for her clients incorporating cardio, balanced nutrition plans, strength
training and more to achieve maximum weight loss, fitness and body

David has been in
the fitness business for twenty years. Originally from the Boston
area. He's a former U.S. Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance team
leader. As Chief fitness instructor for Special Operations Training
Group he trained several U.S. Government agencies elite units. FBI
Hostage Rescue, D.E.A., C.I.A. to name a few. Overseas he worked
internationally with Israeli and British Special Forces on a Joint
International Task Force.
Locally he's worked with L.A.P.D, and L.A.S.D. to develop training
and nutritional programs for special units such as Air Support and
Special Enforcement Bureau.
David has worked as a fitness consultant to the motion picture
industry since coming to California in 1991.

Tasha
Tasha, personal trainer since 2002,

Terrance Hansler
“Originally from Ontario Canada, I have been in the gym training myself
since I was in high school. With gymnastics being my sport, I found it
easy to stay lean, but my coach told me that I needed to include
resistance training to up my game. Working from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s
Modern Body Building Encyclopedia, I learned the basics. I struggled to
gain size, but enjoyed the challenge. After graduation, I gave up
gymnastics, to dance professionally for a production company. During
this time, I really began to appreciate the power of my body, and
learning what I could do with it.
When I turned 30, I realized that I didn’t want to dance forever, but I
knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my years in the fitness
profession to keep me as healthy and fulfilled as possible. For me,
that meant moving to Santa Monica. I started at the Easton Gym in Santa
Monica, this is where I met Jason Kozma. He was the most serious of all
of the trainers, and I respected that. Thankfully I got a chance to
understand the intensity of his training, and achieved incredible
results. I was in the best shape that I had ever been in before, and
with this new found inspiration I certified with the National Academy of
Sports Medicine and began training clients. Jason taught me
visualization, and that mind - body connection is the most important
process that you can realize for proper muscular isolation and
development. He taught us that you could actually sculpt the body to
the likeness the client desired. This was a very informative year for me
personally, as I achieved better results applying his philosophy to what
I was teaching. Soon I began training clients at the Boulevard Health
Club in Beverly Hills. There, I was introduced to Jeet Kune Do (Gung
Fu). I immersed myself in this new art, and learned that Mind-Body
connection is essential to sculpt the body, but discipline sculpts the
spirit. By 2005 I had earned the privilege to teach at the level of
apprentice instructor.
I am available to train clients in
Beverly Hills. My
training style reflects the goals of the client, with the ability to
draw from any of my various fitness experiences, and skill sets
resulting from each. Some clients desire weight loss, some a personal
challenge. I have had clients work off 30 pounds in 6 weeks, as well as
clients who have achieved great results, and continue to work with me
since my first day as a

in her Native Germany, the last five years for Mr. America's High
Performance Team in Los Angeles, California. She combines her

knowledge of fitness, physiology, dance, strength training, flexibility

clients to greater physical awareness, endurance and core strength to achieve

Kim teaches numerous exciting exercise modalities including: Spinning, Urban
Rebounding, Aqua Aerobics, Abs and Butt Classes, and her own style of

Pilates and yoga techniques. Her training system is great for

and flexibility.
She is an experienced classical ballet dancer from Hamburg, Germany.
Kim has

Sherlyn is originally from Sunnyvale, CA but
currently resides in Los Angeles as a personal trainer for High
Performance Personal Training. She has over 17 years of dance experience
in hip hop, jazz, tap, and ballet and years of fitness training
experience. As a former NFL cheerleader for the San Francisco
49ers Gold Rush, she has performed in many bowl games including Super
Bowl 29 as she is also a proud owner of a Super Bowl ring. One of
her most memorable moments is being on a USO Tour in South Korea
performing for our military troops throughout Christmas and New Years.
Among several other victories, Sherlyn is the 2006 winner of the Grace
and Physique at the Women's Tri-Fitness World Challenge. Sherlyn
has recently won the NPC Team Universe Figure Championships and is now
an IFBB Professional Figure competitor! Sherlyn currently trains clients at Gold's
Gym Venice.

Morgan
Bennett is an NASM certified personal trainer with five years of

Teri Nakamura, MPT, ATC,
has an extensive background in rehabilitation and fitness. She received her
Master of Physical Therapy degree from Mount St. Mary’s College, with
emphasis on orthopedics and manual therapy. While at UCLA, she obtained a
bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and became a certified Athletic Trainer.
Teri is a certified Pilates instructor and personal trainer. Teri
provides private traditional Pilates flatbed and Cadillac training.
Teri offers innovative
fitness and cutting-edge physical therapy. She is committed to quality care
and offers safe, effective workouts, tailored to her client’s specific

Ruben is a Santa Monica
native with over 14 years of coaching and training experience. His
background in athletics include (but are not limited to) football,
wrestling, baseball, basketball, volleyball, boxing, and track and
field. He played four years of division one football and obtained
his B.A. in exercise/sport science from Elon University in North
Carolina. He currently competes as an amateur boxer and has included
the Southern California community to join him in his boot camp
workouts.

as providing boxing sessions and sports-specific personal training.

I'm
David Hughes, winner of Mr. L.A. 2003. I have been in the fitness
industry for over fifteen years. I started competing in bodybuilding
with a great deal of success. In 1989 I won my first show, the
Western Oregon Light-Heavy Weight Championships. This was the start
of many victories that laid ahead for me until today. I have
been competing on the national and international level for the last
decade.
I have traveled all over the world including Spain, Japan, Mexico,
Canada, and trained with some of the best athletes out there. I have
trained many clients for competitions, however most of my clients
are not bodybuilders but people just looking to get in better shape,
tone up, and loose weight. I have developed a unique style of
training which provides my clients with a very safe and effective
way of getting the results and maintaining their results.
One of my primary concerns when training new clients is making sure
that they learn absolute "perfect form", when teaching them new
exercises. This is a vital key in how quickly an individual can
achieve the best results. I pay very close attention to detail and
proper form to insure my clients get "total isolation" of each
muscle they are training, and to get the maximum benefits out of
each exercise.
I am currently certified through Professional Private Trainers
Association ( P.T.A.) and I am also a licensed P.T.A. examiner which
allows me to certify other qualified trainers.
My mission in life is to help people and I take pride in each and
every client that I train. If we choose to work with each other, I
